Count on Cleo to have a jar of Black Death sitting on the shelves. It’s way more hipster than the swine flu. It’s hard not to feel for Joey, but that jar did look pretty ominous. I doubt Lucas would have opened it, though Cleo may have opened it for him if she had thought of it.
Closer Look: Notice how sick Joey is getting in the last strip? Does this count as another one of his many deaths? You decide!
