Roma never said she wasn’t crazy, just that she wasn’t as crazy as Cleo. #hallway100

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all your favorite crazies in Hallway 100! My favorite comics are ones like these, where the teachers go completely bonkers and the students pay the price. Like this one.

When making comics, I love to add in little one liners, like when Cleo and Roma are discussing methods to raise children and Bro mentions he thinks all children are actually hobbits secretly plotting to overthrow us. Has nothing to do with that specific comic, but it’s a hilarious tangent. Sometimes these have to be thrown out for brevity’s sake or because it’s too distracting. In this case, I’m glad I was able to find a way to make Cleo’s gun comment work. It’s such a Cleo conclusion to make, the comic wouldn’t have been the same without it. And you can tell the Roma just expects this kind of thing now… I mean, how long have they been working together?

Sadly I did have to cut out Bro burning the Don’t Slip sign. I mean, it’s a great call back to this comic, and of course, our favorite pyromaniac. As a history buff, Cleo will always be the funniest character in my eyes (I mean, this), but there is a reason that you guys seem to like Bro the best (ahem, Tongues of Fire).

Here’s to a phenomenal 2019!
