In high school, football coaches get the gold, the others get the shaft. Some people complain, whether parents or students, but they miss the point. Football makes money. High school football is like a drug that anyone who went to high school can’t resist. 70 year old alumni show up! Do you see that same response for cross country meets? Soccer games?
Yet it still is frustrating to coaches trying to get new equipment for their players. Yet Coach Fit is athletic director and head coach of football. That means he spends all day funneling even more money into football. Coach Surge will never see a dime for his runners. But hey, at least Coach Fit can laugh about it. 🙂
Pop Quiz: The last time we saw Coach Fit, he was starting a turf war with Brian the bully. Brian was seen earlier this week, doing typical Brian shenanigans. Coach Surge must be getting money from somewhere, because he had his runners doing parachute training last Monday.
